Ukto Terms of Use

Age

Ukto is for people aged 13 and over. The app asks for your birth month and year before anything else and does not open for anyone under 13. If you are 13 to 17 you get the whole app with extra protections — ads are never personalised and no account is created for you on our server — and you should use Ukto with a parent or guardian's knowledge. Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play, which can require a parent's approval.

AI-generated content

Lessons and answers in Ukto are generated by an AI model (Google's open Gemma model, running on Cloudflare Workers AI; lessons written before 23 September 2026 came from Google Gemini) and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Treat them as a starting point and verify anything you intend to rely on. They are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice.

Subscriptions

Ukto Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. The price, and any free trial, are shown in the app before you buy, in your own currency, exactly as your App Store or Google Play account will be charged. Payment is taken by the store when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.

A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period or trial. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; the app's Manage subscription button opens that page. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends. Deleting your Ukto account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds follow the policy of the store you bought through.

Acceptable use

Use Ukto to learn. Don't abuse, scrape or try to get around the AI generation limits — they keep the service usable for everyone. Don't use Ukto to produce anything unlawful or harmful.

Your account and data

Your Ukto account is anonymous and tied to your device. You can delete it, and all synced data, from Settings at any time; this cannot be undone. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is collected and the data deletion page for how deletion works.

Apple

If you downloaded Ukto from the App Store, these terms are between you and the developer, not Apple, and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

No warranty

Ukto is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for losses arising from use of the app or reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

If these terms change, this page changes with them and the date above moves.
